Would You Date a Mummy’s Boy?

Would You Date a Mummy’s Boy?

Nothing seems more attractive than a man who genuinely loves his mum, but does this work when you’re dating him?

Many celebrities, including Justin Bieber, are hopelessly devoted to their mothers and it doesn’t stop at celebrities.

Of course, it’s lovely that a man cares for his mum, it’s a sign that she has cared for him and now he is returning the favour.

And there are positives; it shows that his mother has obviously brought him up to be a gentleman and to respect and honour women.

But does it work when dating, or is it in fact harming his chances?

He shall love and devote his life to you, but there are certain things he will respect in return.

His mother would make his breakfast each morning therefore that is something he will now expect from you.

She would wash and iron his clothes, tidy his mess and make him feel like the only man in the world, so you are expected to do the same.

It’s no surprise that he sees this as normal, he’s had it all his life so to him it seems like the norm, but is it right and realistic?

Of course, if he is out earning the money and you’re lucky enough not to have to work then yes, you are the house maker and these jobs fall under that category.

But as most women will tell you, they have to work too so is it fair that you do all the chores on top of that too?

If you’re dating a mummy’s boy, then this is what you’ll have to look forward too.

If this the life you desire then brilliant, some women were made for this – loving, caring, devoting women who would rather nothing more than look after their man.

But if you’re the strong, bold, independent and slightly feminist type, is this really the life for you?

If he seems like the perfect man but kicks off a fuss when you ask him to clean the dishes he’s used is it going to last the long term? Definitely food for thought!
