Would You Take Back a Cheater?

Would You Take Back a Cheater?

Over the past few years it seems that all the love-rats have crawled out of the woodwork, especially in Hollywood.

Tiger Woods was one of the biggest shocks, with a large number of women coming forward saying that they has slept with the golfer behind his wife’s back for years.

Then there was a number of footballers that were proven to be love-rats, John Terry being one of the most prolific and Ryan Giggs being another.

Half way through 2012, Kristen Stewart was giving the girls a bad name after it was aired that she had been having an affair with her married Snow White and The Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, whilst she was in a relationship with Robert Pattinson.

The stand out point with all of these examples is that the partners who have been cheated on have taken their love-rat partners back and now Tiger Woods’ ex-wife Erin is about to do the same.

Are they all crazy or does love really deserve a second chance?

It’s a tricky question, some love really is unconditional but surely there has to be trust there for it to work?

Those who have been unfortunate enough to have their loved one cheat on them know how soul destroying it can be.

You can go one of two ways; you can either pick yourself up and carry on without them or choose to work through your problems.

The massive issue you face after that is trust. Not just with the person who cheated on you, if you choose to stay with them, but with any other partner in the future.

So how is it that a person can be so forgiving to someone who has hurt them so much? The majority of people would walk away, but does staying with them make you stronger or weaker?

The truth is it completely depends on the circumstance and the person.

Some will choose to stay with someone because they’ve made a life together and it was simply a bump in the road, a true mistake.

For others, it will be the last straw in a long line of hurtful actions and deep suspicion.
