You’ll only have a limited amount of time to impress any potential dates so you need to stand out and be remembered, in a good way.
Be confident and hold yourself high so that you project good vibes onto each guy. Ask interesting questions, as well as the important ones, so that they will remember you.
Be Yourself
Although confidence is key, don’t try and be someone you’re not. Be yourself and make sure you’re showing your true colours.
It’s painfully obvious when you’re trying to be someone you’re not and will only land you in hot water if they choose to take you on a date at a later stage.
Don’t Get Drunk
One of the biggest rules when speed dating is to watch your alcohol intake. The last thing you want to happen is to be face down on the floor with an additional 29 people staring at you.
Give yourself a two drink rule so that you can still enjoy your night but without having your potential date holding a bucket whilst you barf in it at the end of the night.
Be Forward
You’ve only got limited time to make an impression and you’re also up against an entire army of women so if you like a guy, let him know it!
We’re not saying that you should tell him you want to marry him and have his babies, but make it known that you’d like to see him again.
Stay Safe
Although speed dating may be a controlled environment, you can’t always control what happens outside of it, so never give away any personal details.
Don’t give away your phone number or address, start with Facebook and arrange to meet through that until you feel you know him well enough to give out your number.
