Desperate Housewives' Marcia Cross turns 53 today so we see who has stolen her heart over the years.

Cross was the long-time companion of actor Richard Jordan who was 25 years older than her. Sadly, he died from a brain tumour in 1993. She did not date anyone seriously until she got engaged in 2005 and married to stockbroker Tom Mahoney on 24th June 2006 in San Gabriel, California at the Church of Our Saviour Episcopal Parish. Her wedding dress was designed by Reem Acra.

Her sister Susan was her maid of honour and her nephew Jared was the ring bearer. Her other sister Ellen sang 'Only Love Remains' as a gift for Marcia and her new husband.
Among the 220 guests were her co-stars Eva Longoria, Felicity Huffman, Brenda Strong and William H Macy.
When she was asked about Mahoney, she gushed; 'I'm really thrilled that I met someone that I want to spend the rest of my life with.'
After their wedding, she underwent in vitro fertilisation and in 2007 she had fraternal twin daughters, Eden and Savannah just before she turned 45.
Cross has a unique take on the meaning of love- but one we can totally take on board; ' I think beauty comes from being happy and connected to the people we love.'
