Between 2002-2006 h had an on off relationship with American actress Kate Bosworth.
After their break up in 2007, he met Australian model Miranda Kerr and they began dating before getting engaged three years later in 2010. They married just a month after they got engaged.
Kerr gave birth to their son Flynn Christopher Copeland Bloom in January 2011. Flynn’s middle name Christopher was named after Kerr’s ex who died in a car accident in 1998 when she was just 15. After his son was born he said; ‘Attraction doesn't stop when a child is born. It's the opposite. Being a mum and dad makes you even sexier. It's the most challenging part of my life. Sadly in 2013, Bloom and Kerr announced their separation, which had actually happened months earlier.
While the couple were living together, they fell victim to the Bling Ring who broke into their home and stole many of their luxury brand clothing and jewellery. It was suggested that the ringleader wanted all of Kerr’ Victoria Secret Lingerie.
