I wonder where he is donating to!

I wonder where he is donating to!

Out with the bad boy and in with the good says One4all Gift Cards UK. Women now see men who give to charity as more attractive than those who lurk on the dark side.

In fact 76% of Brits believe that charitableness and a giving nature is important in potential lovers.

So if you are one date and you pass a charity bucket in the street- you will increase your chances of a second meeting if you open up your purse or wallet and give what you can. You will then more than likely fall into the ‘very attractive’ bracket in the eyes of your potential partner.

1 in 5 women go so far as to say that a man who is kind with their money is far more important than wealth or even looks.

Charitable givers are thought to be more faithful, a good friend, open minded, optimistic, honest and a better parent for this selfless attitude towards people in need.

Many celebrities are leading the way for donations to their most personal causes, all of those listed below have too many charitable involvements to mention but to name a few;

Brad Pitt and his wife Angelina Jolie created the Jolie-Pitt foundation that helps humanitarian causes around the world and they made two £1 million donations, one to Global Action for Children and the other to Doctors without Borders.

George Clooney raised money for the American Foundation for Equal Rights by starring in a play called ‘8’, which was broadcast on You Tube.

Eva Longoria set up Eva’s heroes- a charity which specifically helps developmentally disabled children.

Jessica Alba offered her acting skills for free to raise money for the AIDS charity Afmar at the Cannes Film Festival.

David Beckham has supported UNICEF since his early days in Manchester United.

Social media has done no wrong for daters either- with fundraisers such as The Ice Bucket challenge- the most generous have made complete idiots out of themselves for the sake of a donation.

Declan Byrne, UK managing director at One4all Gift Cards UK, said: “Those who dedicate time or money to charity make such a difference to people’s lives, so it’s great to see that this is increasingly deemed to be an attractive quality that is of greater importance than wealth or looks.

If you live in London and the North east- this is where charitableness is most attractive, however in Ireland and Scotland- it is not deemed so irresistible. But that should never deter you from digging deep into your pockets and improving the lives of those less fortunate than you.
