Audrey Hepburn

We’ve heard some horrific chat up lines in recent years and Audrey Hepburn has proven that the old ones really are the best.

Her line “I don't bite, you know … unless it's called for,” to Carey Grant in the 1963 film Charade has be voted the best movie chat up line.

The star was famous for many things and now she has this award to add to her collection!

The top 5 was dominated by old movie lines, badoo.com found, with the exception of number 5 which saw a much more recent film and actress take the prize.

In fifth place came Natalie Portman with her line from the 2011 No Strings Attached.

The actress wrote “You give me premature ventricular contractions – you make my heart skip a beat” in a card to Ashton Kutcher’s character.

It was seen to be romantic as she was playing a med student and used it as a play on words.

Here is the full list of Badoo’s findings.
