Could You Meet Your Match at a Wedding?

Weddings are truly special days that see two people declare their love for each other to the world, but now it’s not just limited to the bride and groom.

Dating site, MySingleFriend.com, is launching a new service in time for the wedding season that aims to help singles find a date at their friends’ wedding.

MySingleTable.com allows the bride and groom to write dating profiles for their single guests and even pair them up at the table on the big day.

Weddings have proven to be a big success when it comes to finding a partner and the research backs it up.

My Single Friend found that 80 per cent of singles believe weddings are good fun and a great place to meet new people.

The majority of men and women also said that they would like the bride and groom to let them know about other singles attending the wedding.

Sarah Beeny, founder of MySingleFriend.com, said, “Weddings are fantastic opportunities to match make our fabulous single friends! It’s time to get our Great British brides and grooms involved.

“Their single friends have been there for them providing support as wingmen in their relationships – It’s time to spread the love! MySingleTable is such a fun way to mix it up and help their friends meet new people, find a date, and make it an event to remember!”

The site already seems to be taking off, with couples planning to use the service to get their single friends paired up.

Nick and Sarah from London met on the dating site last year and have said that they will be using the new service for their 2014 wedding.

Nick said, “If our friends hadn’t encouraged us to go on MySingleFriend.com I wouldn’t be marrying the woman of my dreams!

“We are big fans of MySingleFriend.com and the idea of match making our single friends at our wedding through MySingleTable.

“What a great way for our friends to share in our special day and brilliant for them to check out who’s coming, and have a chance at finding a date!”
