How can debts affect libido?

www.Vouchercodespro.co.uk has found that the more debt couples have the less they have sex.

Financially stable couples have sex 4 times per week

Those with debts of £500 or less have sex 3 times per week

Couples with £500-£4,000 debts have sex once a week

Those in more than £10,000 worth of debt have sex once a month

With a huge 57% who argue about money, it’s no surprise that this can lead to a reduced libido.

41% said that the main reason for their arguments was one or the other spending too much money.

3% said that splitting bills fairly was another cause for crossed words.

George Charles, spokesperson for VoucherCodesPro.co.uk, said the following about the findings:

“Clearly, concerns about debts are getting in the way of things between the sheets for couples up and down the UK. It’s not easy to let go and have fun when, in the back of your mind, you’re thinking about the amount of money you owe and money is an area where resentments can brew very quickly between a couple.

“There was a clear pattern revealed in our poll, whereby the more debts people had the less frequently they were making love. Getting debts under control and cleared should be a priority for anyone who owes money through a loan, credit card or overdraft. Once you get used to spending money that isn’t technically yours, it’s a slippery slope from there!”
