But why is this suddenly so important? Four singles explain:
Charlie, a 27 year old works in Finance:
" Working in finance can sometimes be stressful and intense. There are week's when my hours of work are much longer than others, it varies. Dating someone who understands that having a successful career means not being able to always start at 9am, and finish at 5pm is very important. Disagreements about working late are basically diminished because each person understands that it comes with the territory."
"With my job being stressful, having a relaxed home life is something I strive for. This is why I think matching people on their CV's is a great idea, because each person will understand what they are getting themselves into."
Rachel, a 26 year old software developer:
" I think a person's career really does say a lot about them as a person. I have always been ambitious, and dating someone who is equally ambitious and driven is something I find attractive. The fact that some dating sites select its members using their CV contents makes it that much easier to find the right match, because everyone will be successful and ambitious in one way or another."

"A person's career can tell you a lot about them. It can show you that they have passion and drive and that they know what they want from life. "In my industry, long hours are not uncommon and I can sometimes be required to attend last minute meetings or change my plans. Dating someone who works in a similar environment and who understands my ambition and commitment to my job can certainly make dating life a lot easier".
" Although a person's career does not dictate whether or not I would like to date them it does help with my selection process. With some dating websites and apps, you are required to make a decision as to whether you want to date a person based solely on one picture.
