Women have put themselves firmly back in the dating driving seat and they take control of their love lives.
Mobile dating service FlirtFinder has discovered that women are sending 45 per cent more messages on their services than men.
Women in Lancaster as even sending five times more messages than the men of Lancaster!
The research shows the women are not sort of men to message, but that the men are being lazy when it comes to furthering their love life.
The keenest daters in the UK are those from Gloucester, with the women sending on average 85 messages and then men falling behind with a tiny 35!
The ladies of Harrow must already have their perfect suitor as they are only sending 14 messages on average when using the service.
Some people rely on the dating service to meet people and go on dates. Justin Battell, managing director of FlirtFinder says, “Our most prolific dater has sent over 11,700 messages and our top 100 members have sent over 560,000 messages between them.”
Despite this, Justin doesn’t believe that the users of FlirtFinder are desperate; more that they just like to play the field a little.
He said, “These top daters tend to be serial daters who aren’t looking to sacrifice their single life and would rather have a series of casual flings than a serious relationship.
“These frisky daters tend to never leave the service and have usually been members for between two to four years.”
