It's a question Annabelle Knight gets asked a lot and one that will be answered on Tuesday when she featured in an hour-long documentary on Channel 4 called More sex Please, We're British.
The show is a fly-on-the-wall look at Lovehoney.co.uk - Britain's biggest online sex toy retailer.
Channel 4 cameras have followed us around for months to find the good, the bad and the plain old ugly truth about keeping millions of Britons happy in their bedrooms.
The idea for the documentary came about because sex toys are increasingly entering the mainstream, and nearly half the nation now owns one. Celebrities ranging from Tulisa Contostavlos on X Factor to Angelina Jolie make no secret of the fact that toys are a big part of their sex lives.
The UK sex toy market is worth an estimated £250 million, and with retailers such as Boots, Tesco and Superdrug now stocking erotic toys, this market is destined to grow.
Founded in 2002 by my bosses Neal Slateford and Richard Longhurst, Lovehoney has seen its sales increase each year to £16 million. It also owns the posh sex boutique chain Coco de Mer.
The programme meets the people working behind the scenes at the HQ in Bath who send out up to 11,000 parcels a week - from adult toys and sexy lingerie, to erotic literature and games.
Couples will discuss everything about their lives apart the one thing that is most important: sex
I am just one member of that team - I'm their resident online presenter and sexpert, giving advice to millions of customers about how to keep their sex lives exciting.
So how on earth did I end up in a job like that?
I come from a successful family - my parents are property developers - and I studied computer science university.
I had hoped to go into property development, too, until the recession rudely intervened and I needed to find a new career.
I moved to Bristol to work in local radio when I heard about Lovehoney and ended up joining the team. Over the last two years I have immersed myself in all the latest sexual research to make sure I can give quality advice. There isn't a sex toy I haven't tried out.
What do my parents think of my career? They are really proud.
It is an exciting career and opening up all sorts of the opportunities for me.
For the last six months I have been filmed continuously by the team from Channel 4.
That has included interviewing me and my TV presenter boyfriend Matt Bell at our home in North London.
I met Matt 18 months ago, so I was already doing this job when we got together. It didn't faze him one bit.
He used to get some interesting reactions from his mates when they asked him what his girlfriend did for a living and he replied: "She is a sexpert!"
Does that make me any different in bed from anyone else?
Well, not really.
Yes, Matt and I are more likely to be a bit more experimental than most couples. And yes, we have access to virtually any sex toy that has ever been designed.
But sex isn't rocket science. Anyone can enjoy fabulous sex by following five simple tips.
1 Experiment - if you do something the same way every time of course it is going to get boring - mix it up a bit.
2 Communicate - don't be afraid to tell your partner exactly what you want. It's amazing how many people are too scared to be completely honest. Couples will discuss everything about their lives apart the one thing that is most important: sex.
3 Stay fit and healthy - if you feel great, of course your man is going to want to ravish you!
4 Make an effort - sex is like everything: you get what you put in. Take time over it. Go away for a dirty weekend. Buy some sex lingerie. Make your sex 'special.'
5 My Final tip is real sexpert's insider's insight: get yourself a vibrating cock ring - http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=18919. I love this toy. It's all about intimacy: you can use it together as you make love for maximum pleasure for both of you.
I really don't think I am any different in bed to how I was before I started this job. But I guess I do have a few more toys to play with.
More Sex Please, We're British is on Channel 4 at 10pm on Tuesday (May 8).
Lovehoney.co.uk launch the fully rechargeable Happy Rabbit - dubbed 'the iPhone of sex toys' - on May 8.
