Gwen told her interviewer that her husband likes her more in make-up and so she wears it all the time, often reapplying throughout the day!
Beauty retailer, Escentual.com, found that nearly three quarters of men are on team Gavin with this one.
A massive 73 per cent of men said that they prefer their partner to be wearing make-up all the time as it makes them more attracted to them.
A further 21 per cent of men said they liked their partner to wear make-up for special occasions and a tiny 6 per cent said they preferred the fresh faced, make-up free look.
Emma, Beauty Editor from Escentual.com said, “It doesn’t surprise me that men prefer their partners with make up on, there’s nothing more sexy than a confident woman, and make-up – even if just a bit of mascara or cover-up – can make a woman feel so much more empowered”
Men were asked which make-up look they preferred and it seems that Gwen’s bold red lips weren’t top of the table.
The most favoured look was the smokey eye that is often seen upon the eyes of Mila Kunis, Kate Moss and Sienna Miller.
Lip colour came a respectable second and even skin tone came in as the third most desired look.
Emma from Escentual.com said, “Men love the smokey look, it’s timeless, sexy and mysterious. Our Dior eye palette ‘5 Couleurs in Smoky Design’ is very popular - dark eye products always sell well, despite beauty trends and the weather. Women love to create this look time and time again.”
Stacey Solomon also revealed earlier this week that she sleeps in her make-up and UK leading Permanent Comestic Specialist Debra Robson-Lawrence revealed the shocking stat that 79% of women also sleep in their make-up! Are there no lengths at which women will stop in order to look their best all the time?
