Contrary to popular belief, the majority of British men prefer a woman when she is dressed in a respectable way.

A good 45 per cent of men said that they would be more likely to approach a woman who is dressed nicely.
This was compared to just 31 per cent of men who said that they were more attracted to a woman wearing less.
Amusingly, 17 per cent admitted that they didn’t care how a woman was dressed as long as they were attracted to her.
Men also admitted that they were much more likely to give a woman respect if she was dressed in a reserved way.
A massive 53 per cent of men said that they would respect a woman more if she was conservatively dressed.
A quarter of men said it would depend on the woman as to how they would respect her, and 22 per cent of men said they would respect a woman more if she dressed revealingly.
Fifty five per cent of men said that they would much rather give their number to a woman dressed more reserved and classy.
Just under four in 10 men said they were more geared to giving their number to a girl dressed in a revealing outfit.
George Charles of VoucherCodesPro.co.uk who conducted the research said, “We were interested in discovering whether or not men were more likely to approach women who wore a specific style of clothing and whether this impacted their decisions to give out their number.
“Surprisingly, more men preferred to approach women who were wearing reserved and classy attire rather than a revealing outfit!
“As the results prove, it shows that men do notice women’s clothes, so perhaps keep this in mind when planning your next party outfit! Tailoring your look before going out and perhaps toning it down will make you feel more comfortable, which is the most important thing.”
