From Gwyneth Paltrow to Jane Fonda Hollywoods most famous have been spilling the beans about the most intimate details of their sex lives.

Online sex toy retailer Lovehoney.co.uk has compiled a list of the best quotes to mark the launch on Tuesday (May 8) of the Happy Rabbit, dubbed the 'iPhone of sex toys.'

Asked about her favourite sexual position Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow, 39, said: "I'm down with all of them!"

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, 37, revealed that some of the best sex she had ever experienced was with a sex toy. She said:"I own two and I have a Rabbit one. I give that as a gift all the time. It's the best gift to give - an orgasm."

Vibrators are great - they save people from having stupid sex. I'd pitch them to anybody

Teri Hatcher, 47, also from Desperate Housewives, said: "To be honest, I don't know what I want a male for. I have some fabulous electronics to use instead. And any woman who tells you she doesn't is lying."

Geri Halliwell relies on vibrators for sexual pleasure and often sends them to friends as presents. "They are very good for relaxation," she explained. "But you know what the problem is? They don't hug you afterwards."

Myleene Klass, 34, is another vibrator enthusiast - buying them for showbiz pals such as Suzanne Shaw, who she sang with her in the band Hear'Say.

She said: "We buy them for each other so we don't have to admit buying them for ourselves." Zoe Saldana, 33, who starred in Avatar and Star Trek, said: "I like missionary and I like being on my knees too. And I love being on top...or standing up."

Cameron Diaz said: "I love porn! You what I love about hotels? How discreet they are. "They always give you that little thing at the bottom- 'Your room will be charged the same as any other room, no titles will be used."

Rapper Missy Elliott, 40, said: "My vibrator keeps me happy for now... the butterfly is my favourite - it's out of this world." Missy has even written a song celebrating the wonders of vibrators called 'Toyz' which contains the lyrics: "I gotta a bag full of toys and I don't need none of you boys!"

Jordan was so attached to her vibrator she wanted to make it her luxury item on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here because she needed the sex toy to help 'pass the time.'

Jane Fonda, 74, admitted that age was catching up with her but she still loved sex. "I like to be either lying down or sitting up on a couch," she said of her favourite sexual positions.

Hollywood beauty Anne Heche, 42, said: "Vibrators are great - they save people from having stupid sex. I'd pitch them to anybody."

Model and TV presenter Annabelle Knight, 27, a sexpert at Loveyhoney, said stars were becoming far more open about their sex lives. She said: "I think it is a really good thing - we've been uptight about sex for far too long. It's great that celebrities are loosening up."

Sales of sex toys are set to rival the smartphone with research showing that the number of 'pleasure goods' will increase to 400 globally over the next ten years. Half the homes in Britain now have a sex toy with sales of £250 million a year.

More Sex Please, We're British  - an hour-long fly-on-the-wall documentary all about www.lovehoney.co.uk - is on Channel 4 on Tuesday (May 8) at 10pm.
