Pick a day- You decide to go out- but then you have to sync your schedules to pick a night that suits you both. This could take a while.
Ordering is it's own can of worms
Getting ready- He will always be ready faster than you and end up sitting around playing on his phone until you emerge all dolled up. You tell him 15 minutes and you end up taking an hour. When you are ready- at this point he has taken off his jacket and shoes and has to get ready a second time.
Parking- One of you is willing to park anywhere so you can tuck into your meal- the other is a little more hasty when it comes to finding the perfect spot. One that looks the least likely to attract thieves.
Seating- Girls like to remove their coats and show off their outfits so a seat inside is preferable- men are quite happy to sit in their coats all night and like to sit outside. One of you is going to be too warm or too cold and uncomfortable.
Ordering- You can't get the same- you have to get something different so you can share. But you hate it when your partner steals from your plate.
Dessert- Neither of you wants to come across as a person with eyes bigger than their belly so you avoid dessert in the restaurant and then call in a McDonalds for a McFlurry on the way home. It saves a bunch of money and gives you time to let your meal settle. Perfect.
You fantasize- About going to a bar or a walk afterwards and then you inevitably end up going back home to wear off your calorie intake in other ways!
