You get home from work- And stare around at your empty home as you realise that you're instantly bored without him.
You can watch what you want- Your boredom immediately subsides when you realise you can binge watch your favourite show- 5 episodes of Grey's Anatomy- come on!
You still cook tea for two- You're in the habit of making food for both of you- so when he's away you get to stuff your face with two portions and no-one will ever know.
OR you order take out for two- The delivery guy won't know your SO is away- it's all good.
You go to the toilet with the door open- There's nothing more liberating than peeing while you can still see the TV.
You talk to yourself- You would normally have discussed your day, weighed up what you're doing for the night and having for tea by now. He's not there to do that with so you talk it out with yourself instead.
You text him goodnight- Because he would normally be there to kiss and cuddle so you send lots of emojis to illustrate how much you miss being able to do these things.
Your imagination goes wild- At every little noise- 'those aren't the pipes settling- that's definitely a ghost'.
You sleep with the lights on- And open your eyes every few seconds to see if there's a demon stood in the corner.
You sleep really badly- You'd expect to sleep soundly given that you've a whole bed to yourself- but alas- you don't because it feels wrong not having another snoring and farting lump next to you.
