You text rather than email- Emails are too long winded-and they can be traced- a text is much more appropriate when your boss is hovering around- the usual, 'what's for tea?' or 'great night last night' (wink face) is your usual line of choice.

You sit at opposite ends of the couch- When you get in from work you quickly sum your respective days and then sit opposite each other on the couch and get on the F-book or game app. You are close but yet so far away. But it's ok because you let your toes touch when you feel like being intimate (steady now).
You communicate through videos and GIFs- The only time you look up from your device is if you see something they will find funny and show them- you share a laugh or two and then it's back to business. 'Check out this funny cat video!'- because it's way more important than talking to you.
You use your phones during your fav programme- You both adore Game of Thrones- you dig a bit of Big Bang but you have each developed this ability to multi-task- watch/ listen to the TV while still using your phone. You can do the same when your partner talks to you too- it's a gift.
You use your phone in bed- Rather than snuggling as soon as you get in bed- you go through a ritual of getting in the last few minutes of scrolling before committing to one another. No words are spoken- this is how bedtime always plays out for you- even if you feel like sex.
