What is it?

Tokii is an app that is very much based on feelings. In relationships we can often bypass our partner’s feelings and lose focus of them but this app makes sure we’re communicating them all the time.

There are a number of features that allow you to do this including the Set Mood option as well as a large number of games that you can play to see if you have the same feelings about different situations.

The whole idea is to get you talking to your partner much more about feelings and how you both feel about the different situations you face each day, separately or together.

It also acts as a couples’ social network as you both share a wall on which you communicate and let each other know about your day.

We Love:

It’s not often that couples get to tell each other what they’re feeling and why they feel it but this app makes it easy.

The fact that feelings are exactly what the app is based around makes it a lot easier to talk about too, it almost takes the pressure off it.

The app is really easy to navigate and each time you sign in it gives you little instructions in case you forget which button does what.

This can easily be avoided though by remaining signed in to the app, so it doesn’t become an annoyance one you’ve learned have to navigate the app properly.

The games are really good too. There is a large range of games across many topics and they target light-hearted games as well as some serious issues such as moving in together.

Downfall:

The downfall with this app is that it lacks many of the features available on the web version. The app is pretty new so it’s understandable that the website will have more features but it really does leave the app lacking a little.

Features such as the LoveZones calculator and the TradingPost are lost within the app which is a shame as they’re great features.

It also doesn’t help if one partner is using the app and the other the web version as one partner will be limited to how much they can participate.

Verdict:

The app overall is good but by making changes to include all the features available on the website it could be much, much better!
