Walking

Walking

Couples enjoy doing couply things together- and there are some clear favourites among those loved up in relationships according to WWF-UK.

A long country walk or walk in the park- Walking does two things for couples- it gets their endorphins going so they are in  better mood and allows some uninterrupted time to talk about their feelings and worries bringing them closer together.

Eating out- Makes you both get dressed up and make an effort- it also means you have to talk if you are sat opposite one another!

Having a drink in a pub- A more relaxed way to unwind together without the pressure of serious conversation.

Cooking- Working as a team towards anything when you are in a couple makes you stronger and communicate better- plus you get to share the benefits afterwards.

Listening to music- Tucked up in a country retreat somewhere looking out at the rolling hills while listening to some soft classical music- bliss!

Gardening- Being outdoors together taking in the sunshine puts you both in a good mood and you can sit back on a night and admire your handy work.

Watching TV- The usual night in after work is spent doing this together. An excuse for a cuddle and a foot rub!

Surfing the net- Finding out stuff together is a great way to bond- especially if it’s about a shared interest.

Walking the dog- Having something that you share the care of plus being in the great outdoors makes you take joint responsibility for another life and your health.

Camping- You have nothing but each other to entertain you so it really tests how inventive you both are!

Facebook- Although it is annoying and self-indulgent there is always a little kick of excitement in your tummy if you announce on Facebook something that you and your partner have done.

Sunbathing- Sun just makes everything better and while you are on holiday the conversation is a lot lighter and you can enjoy silly chatter about frivolous things just because you can.

Pottering around the house- If you live together making your joint home look better is a great way to take pride in your shared space.

Attending the theatre- You can pretend you live in the life of luxury for a night and get all suited and booted for a real treat.

Car booting- Having a well needed spring clean and getting some cash to share is a great excuse to have a treat together!

Shopping- Although your man might not be the biggest fan, it’s a good activity to spend some time together or apart- you can reconvene for tea at the end of your trip or for a coffee and show off your new purchases.

Cinema- Snuggling up together at the back of the cinema is a great way to get that first date feeling- either a cheeky snog, leg touch or him putting his arm around you takes you back to your early days of being together.

BBQ- A way to kick back with your friends and family and enjoy the feeling of summer.

Watching movies at home- Deciding on a film is far more productive than just settling on whatever is on and it means you have a clear two hours of nothing but each other and the movie.

Swimming- He can admire you in your skimpy bikini and there is lots of room for flirty play, as you swim after each other and wrap your legs around him while you share passionate wet kiss!

Dancing- An excuse to touch each other in unfamiliar places and get your bodies close- a way to awaken your senses and feel each other again.

Drinking- This lets your guard down so you can be more open and honest about your feelings and a bit more confident to do new things.

Playing cards- A cheeky card game brings out your playful side and you can enjoy it with a little drink of something naughty and you can put your own twist on it!

Reading in bed- Connected by a leg angle or a game of footsie, you can be close but worlds apart and then once you’re done –you’re in bed anyway so see where the mood takes you.

Board games- If you find yourself with nothing to do- crack open your favourite game and some nibbles and get a bit competitive- many couples think that’s a sexy quality in their partner!
