Today she tackles the subject of ghosting which is defined as 'ending a romantic relationship by cutting off all contact and ignoring the former partner's attempts to reach out'. People often do this without any warning or justification for doing so.

It's considered to be a behaviour that's particularly traumatic for the person who's on the receiving end as the psychological effects can lead to feelings of rejection. Daters with low self- esteem can be particularly vulnerable when being ghosted.

It is considered a passive-aggressive form of emotional abuse by some mental health professionals and others have labelled it as a type of silent treatment or emotional cruelty.
