62% of women believe that they could identify a celebrity just by their voice proving that they spend an awful lot of time analysing famous peoples' vocal ranges. Surprisingly, women would rather listen to Boris Johnson than Prince William, despite their differing attractiveness levels.

Forget looks, income or personality- its men's voices that are making us swoon, with 24% of British women falling for someone just from their tone, according to Strepsils.
A massive 73% say that a voice or accent can make someone sexier if they are not the best looker in the room and many believe that you can tell lot about a man by the sound of his voice.
Women want the husky voice in a man, because it makes them sound more manly and rugged, whereas men want breathy voices? I guess because they sound like they are post coitus.
It seems that some men really do have the luck of the Irish when it comes to attracting women.
Women voted the Irish accent to be sexiest and we can certainly see why, there's just something about an Irish twang that instantly makes a man more appealing.
Some of the sexiest stars in Hollywood are Irish, take Colin Farrell, Michael Fassbender, Pierce Brosnan and Liam Neeson for example.
I am in total agreement with 24% of the nation who could listen to Liam Neeson all day. Even if he was telling me that he was going to find me and kill me- as long as he talked me through what he was going to do to pop me off then I'm game. And if Pierce Brosnan wanted to draw upon his past experience as Bond and join him in my fate that would be ok too.
Rosie Freeman-Jones from IllicitEncounters.com, who conducted the research, said, "Sometimes it's not just what you say but how you say it, accents are increasingly becoming highlighted in our members profiles as to set them apart from other potentials.
"Being able to have a conversation is a really important element to forming a successful physical relationship. So finding your date's accent attractive can be a real plus point."
It isn't only the Irish accent that turned women on, if you are Scottish, Cockney or from the West Country you'd also fair pretty well with the ladies- think Ewan McGregor and Sean Connery to whet your appetite.
Unfortunately, if you're from Manchester you may have to dazzle a lady with your personality and the Manc accent was voted the least sexy.
