Two thirds or 66% of women feel that they are constantly anxious or overstressed about work. They feel this at least once in their working week and a massive third don’t know how to cope with these feelings.

As women in their 20s, 30’s and 40s try to climb the ladder they are finding it increasingly difficult to have a career, a family and time for themselves.

For those in their 20s and 30s, 25% are not concentrating on gaining a balance between work and their personal commitments and the older they get the more they rely on their smartphones to be able to work when they are not in the office.

75% of women in their 20s said that they can’t live without their smart phones, in their 30s this creeps up to 38%, 21% of women spend 2-3 hours on social media in one day! Female First posted an article recently about the number of times people answer their phones during sex!

Reassuringly it found that women still make time to devote to their family and friends where they can.

75% of women said that their family are their top priority, the commitments from work aside, only 6% say that work comes above all else. Women in their 20s make more time for friends as they prioritize their social life more than in their 30s and 40s. This percentage is only 16% however, which still doesn’t overtake the importance of family, or partners.

22% of women between the ages of 22-48 says that going to the gym is their hobby, as opposed to 17% who run and 37% who walk or hike as their hobby.

One in ten women in the 20s, 30s and 40s aim to have healthy lifestyle. 4% try to eat healthily on most days having splurges at weekends and one in five or 22% try to get in some exercise at least 4 times per week.

Despite many women making it to the top, 27% still believe that their success is purely dependent on their physical appearance and one of the top three achievements that they could aspire to.

After work, gym and food worries, there is still hope for their partners, as 43% still class themselves as romantics. To indulge this notion, they still like the romantic gestures, the physical contact and a decent sex life.
