Britain's Duchess of Cornwall has cancelled a number of engagements after falling ill.
Camilla had been due to attend the Classical BRIT Awards at the Royal Albert Hall in London tonight (02.10.12) and a series of other events in the city tomorrow (03.10.12) after developing sinusitis and a "severe" ear infection.
It is thought Camilla was advised by doctors not to fly down from Scotland, where she has been spending the summer with her husband Prince Charles.
A Clarence House spokeswoman said: "The Duchess of Cornwall has developed sinusitis and a severe middle ear infection over the last few days, which means she will not be able to carry out her engagements in London this evening and tomorrow."
Camilla was due to celebrate National Community Meals week at a hospitality and catering college in London tomorrow.
She was then expected to travel to Clarence House to honour Madeline Mason, who has been named a Diamond Champion for her work as a volunteer with the charity Guide Dogs.
She was also due to attend a charity screening of the film 'Private Peaceful'.
Some of the events may be scheduled for a later date.
