Camilla's baby joy

Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, is "overjoyed" after her daughter Laura Lopes gave birth on Wednesday (16.01.08).The duchess - who is married to Britain's Prince Charles - has already been to visit her new granddaughter and the proud parents, 29-year-old Laura and her husband Harry Lopes, 30, at an undisclosed London hospital.A royal spokesperson said: "Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, is overjoyed and has been to see her granddaughter."It is not known whether Charles has visited his stepdaughter yet, or if Laura's father Andrew Parker Bowles has been to see his new grandchild.Laura, who manages a London art gallery, and Harry, a former underwear model, married in May 2006 and announced they were expecting their first child together in July last year.Last October, the duchess became a grandmother for the first time when her son Tom Parker Bowles and his wife Sarah welcomed a baby girl.A royal spokeswoman said at the time: "The duchess is absolutely thrilled."

Tom and Sarah called their daughter - who was born at London's Queen Charlotte's Hospital on October 9 - Lola.
