Duchess of Cambridge runs errands in London

The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted in London running errands in London yesterday (06.02.12), keeping busy while her husband Prince William is serving in the Falkland Islands.

The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted running errands in London yesterday (06.02.12) after a short trip to the Caribbean.

The royal's husband Prince William is currently completing training as a search and rescue pilot in the Falkland Islands and Catherine - who usually lives in Wales with her spouse - will be basing herself in the capital for the next six weeks while he is away,

Catherine first visited the Richard Ward hair salon on the King's Road in the city's Chelsea area for some pampering before picking up groceries from store Partridges .

Catherine will be kept busy however, looking after the latest addition to her family, a cocker spaniel puppy the couple were given by a friend of her mother, Carole Middleton.

A source said: "He belongs to a litter of cocker spaniels from one of Carole's friends.

"At first, they had just taken it home for a short period of time to see how they adapt but William and Catherine fell in love with the pup instantly and it wasn't long before they decided to keep him. He's now part of the royal fold!"
