Duchess Catherine's cousin Katrina Darling has quit her job in banking to be a burlesque dancer full-time.
Katrina- who is a distant relative of the British royal and her sister Pippa Middleton - had been working as an analyst at Barclays but handed has now given two weeks notice to her employers to focus on a showbiz career, according to the New York Post's Page Six.
Having performed in the US in March, she has lined up a performance at London's Whiskey Mist - a nightclub frequented by Catherine's brother-in-law Prince Harry - on Wednesday (30.05.12).
Katrina's performance come as Queen Elizabeth is set to celebrate her Diamond Jubilee this forthcoming weekend.
She will dance to the Sex Pistols' 'God Save The Queen' while wearing a crown, in a tongue in cheek reference to her royal connections.
Only recently Katrina said she was content with her job and claimed her workmates were supportive.
She said: "They know that I do this on the side. Everybody is really supportive. My team at work is great. The English know how to laugh at themselves a bit more."
