Duchess Catherine is "gorgeous in real life", according to rowing gold medal winner Kat Copeland.
The royal - who was known as Kate Middleton before her marriage - paid a visit to some of Team GB's winning competitors with her brother-in-law Prince Harry yesterday (09.08.12) and they were impressed with her beauty and knowledge about the Olympics.
Kat said: "I've wanted to meet her, all through the games I've seen her at other sports and I keep missing her. She's gorgeous in real life.
"They were both really nice. Kate had obviously watched all of our races, which was pretty amazing.
"Both of them seem really enthusiastic and excited, they know a lot and they've obviously watched it all.
"She was really knowledgeable about our sport and we talked about the cycling and she talked about the triathlon so it's pretty incredible that they have been watching everything and they really know what's going on."
Fellow rower Sophie Hosking was equally impressed with the royals.
She added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It was a pleasure to meet them.
"They just seemed very normal and very humble.
"We were chatting about what we have watched and they were saying how much they have enjoyed the games."

I agree. The Duchess of Cambridge is a lovely, lovely girl. She is as beautiful on the inside, as she is on the outside. Prince William made a very wise choice, when he picked Catherine.
