Royal News Duchess of Yorks Naked Photo Raises Money

A naked photograph of the Duchess of York wearing just a pair of Jimmy Choos shoes has been auctioned off.The image of Sarah Ferguson, which features the duchess in an alluring pose wearing only a pair of the designer stilettos and a Cartier bracelet, was part of a sale at Christie's, in London, earlier this week.The photograph was originally taken for a book - released to raise money for Elton John's AIDS foundation charity - titled 'Four Inches', which featured a galaxy of female stars including Paris Hilton, supermodel Kate Moss and Rachel Hunter, all posing in the nude apart from their shoes. In total, the auction lot which included all the original prints raised over $2 million for the charity. Kate Moss' alluring pose fetched the most after selling for over $400,000.Earlier this week, Ferguson enjoyed an evening of dance at the American Ballet Theatre, in New York.The duchess, who is divorced from Prince Andrew, attended the lavish venue to enjoy a performance by award-winning tap dancer Savion Glover.Glover gave a modern interpretation of Czech composer Bedrich Smetana's classic composition 'The Bartered Bride'.

After watching the performance, Ferguson was seen mingling with a galaxy of US stars, including 'Goodfellas' actor Robert De Niro and outspoken comedienne Joan Rivers.
