Foul-mouthed chef Gordon Ramsay referred to Britain's Prince William as a ''b*****d'' after dining with him and his wife Duchess Catherine in Los Angeles last month.

Gordon Ramsay referred to Britain's Prince William as a "b*****d" after dining with him and his wife Duchess Catherine.

The foul-mouthed chef attended a fundraiser with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in Los Angeles last month and Gordon admitted they had "hung out" with each other.

He said: "Yes we had the b*****d in. It was an extraordinary night."

It was not the first encounter Gordon has had with the British royal family.

He also revealed that in 2004 he was asked to lose a charity race against William but refused to because he wanted to be able to boast to his children about beating the future king of Britain.

During an appearance on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno', the father-of-four said: "I whipped him and he's 10 years younger than me as well. Wouldn't you take that opportunity - to get the future king in a race and cane his arse? Bragging rights for life, tell the grandchildren etc."
