Lady Gaga has reportedly bought binoculars in the hope of catching a glimpse of Britain's Queen Elizabeth at home while staying in a nearby London hotel.
Lady Gaga has bought binoculars to spy on the British royal family while she is in London.
The eccentric singer reportedly requested a luxury suite with the best possible view of official residence Buckingham Palace while staying at the lavish Lanesborough Hotel - and she has reportedly spent all her downtime trying to catch a glimpse of the famous residents because she is such a big fan of Queen Elizabeth.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "She is totally obsessed with the royals. One of the reasons she loves that hotel is because of how close she is to the queen.
"This time she thought ahead and brought a pair of really high-tech binoculars with her. She hopes she'll eventually get to see Her Majesty walking the corgis in the garden."
Gaga is known for her love of the British royal family and at the end of her tour in April, she threw a tea party themed around the wedding of Prince William and Duchess Catherine.
According to insiders, the 'Judas' singer decorated the venue in Cleveland, Ohio, with Union Jack bunting and served her guests - including her mother Cynthia - traditional English fare such as cucumber sandwiches, coronation chicken and crumpets with jam, with gin cocktails served in royal mugs.
A source said: "Gaga had the time of her life - on occasion she was even talking in a London accent.
"Her attention to detail was impressive. She had a special room decorated backstage in British flags and bunting and everyone was told to work the royal look."
Gaga, 25, dressed up as William's great-grandmother, the late Queen Mother, in what was described as a "unique interpretation" of the royal, while her entourage were also creative in their costumes.
The source added: "Her dancers came dressed as Wills and Harry, Henry VIII and even corgis, like the queen's dogs."
