Larry Lamb says Prince Edward is a good boss.
The youngest child of Britain's Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip used to run TV production company, Ardent Productions and the former 'EastEnders' star, who once worked for the royal, revealed he was a wonderful employer.
Speaking as he promoted the 'Karcher Cleans Britain' campaign, Larry exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I've never met the queen, but in actual fact, I worked for Prince Edward back in the 90s. He has a television production company called Ardent Televisions, and I'd been sitting on top of an idea about a little dramatised documentary about the Tower of London which everybody seemed to be interested in, but nobody seemed to be able to get off the ground.
"I spoke to the people that were working with him that we were working for, and explained my idea, and in the end, he and his company actually thought it was a very good idea, and we finished up making the series of little dramatised stories about the Tower of London, so, I met him several times and I think he's a really decent sort of chap.
"He was very fair, we got paid on time, so he seems like a reasonable sort of person altogether."
While Larry is excited about Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee celebrations this weekend, he is also thrilled that London will be hosting the Olympic and Paralympic Games too.
He said: "It's not just the jubilee, it's the whole summer, because we've got the Olympics and the Paralympics straight after, and people are doing things together in communities."
Larry Lamb and Karcher cleaned up Ethel Road in Harborne Birmingham after the residents won a national competition to have their street professionally cleaned for their Jubilee party. For more information please visit www.facebook.com/karchercleansbritain
