Mike Tindall and Zara Phillips are struggling to find the right time to have kids.
Queen Elizabeth's granddaughter - who is an eventing champion - and her rugby player husband will celebrate their first wedding anniversary in July and while they both want children, Mike admitted their careers are making it difficult.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Obviously we're going to have a family. But it's about timing.
"Obviously it's the Olympics this year, the Europeans next year, the World Championships the year after for her.
"There is definitely a family in the future but it's hard at the moment with work."
Mike, 33 - who was caught on CCTV partying with blonde friend Jessica Palmer in a bar during the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand after his wedding last year - also revealed he loves being married and praised Zara as an "awesome support".
He said: "Married life is great. Zara is an awesome support.
"What we're both very good at, as professional sports people, is understanding what the other is going through.
"She has that fire and instinct."
