Britain's Prince Harry has urged children in the UK to get into sport.
The 27-year-old royal says sport teaches key values like discipline, hard work and respect and he is encouraging every British school get involved this summer to coincide with the 2012 London Olympics.
In a video message, Harry - who is president of the School Games - said: "I believe that taking part in sport can be incredibly beneficial to young people.
"It teaches us some of life's most important values, such as teamwork, discipline, hard work and respect. London 2012 will put sport in the spotlight in this country like never before. I hope young people will feel inspired to follow in the footsteps of our Olympic heroes and get involved.
Harry believes it is the ideal time to get involved with sport for those who aren't usually interested.
He added: "To every student out there who may not think sport is for them, I would say there's no better time to have a go - try something different and start a sporting habit to last a lifetime."
The London Olympics start on July 27 and finish on August 12 and the royal family are expected to attend many events.
