In Royal News press warned after Prince Harry chase.The British royal family has urged the press to leave PRINCE HARRY alone, after photographers pursued him in a car chase which mirrored the high speed pursuit that left his mother DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES dead in 1997.A royal spokesperson claims Harry and his 19-year-old girlfriend, CHELSY DAVY, were endangered by the frantic chase last week (ends22APR05) during their safari holiday in Botswana, Africa.The resulting pictures appeared in two British tabloids, THE SUN and the DAILY MAIL, on Monday (25APR05).And the prince's representatives have reminded the PRESS COMPLAINTS COMMISSION about their code of practice, which was amended to protect people from "persistent following," after Princess Diana died in a fatal car cras h under pursuit from photographers.The royal spokesperson says, "We are very concerned about the circumstances in which these photographs were taken."There was a pursuit along a rutted dirt track that involved dangerous driving, which put the occupants of both Prince Harry's vehicle and the photographers' vehicle at risk of an accident."0Comments | Be the first to comment!
