Prince Harry Planning Chelsy Getaway

Britain's Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy are planning a romantic getaway after Christmas.

The 25-year-old royal - who dated the blonde beauty for five years before they split in January - wants to whisk the blonde beauty away for a sunshine break in South Africa so they can spend quality time together and focus on fixing their relationship.

A friend said: "Harry will have a break from the Army over Christmas and is planning a trip with Chelsy. He doesn't have to be back at work until January 4 and is desperate to go on a romantic break. He's convinced some time away in the sun is what their relationship needs.

"He loves Botswana but they haven't decided where they are going yet. Chelsy will definitely go home to Cape Town for Christmas."

The pair has been meeting for secret dates at Harry's home Clarence House recently and are also keen to jet away before the prince's workload increases.

He could be sent to an earthquake zone or a recovery mission

Meanwhile, it has been revealed Harry - who is an officer in the army - is unlikely to return to the frontline until at least 2013.

Senior officers at the Army Air Corps have warned him his military helicopter training schedule will be too intensive for him to return to a warzone in the near future.

An insider told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper: "Harry has been told that he won't be going back to the front line as quickly as he had thought.

"He has set his heart on flying the Lynx helicopter but he has to pass his exams and complete his training. He will need at least 18 months' air experience before the Army would even think about sending him to a war zone."

Another source added: "If he does end up flying a Lynx, there's no guarantee he will go to war. He could be sent to an earthquake zone or a recovery mission."
