Princes William and Harry to use Diana's home for charity

Prince William and Harry have decided to turn Princess Diana's apartment at Kensington Palace into a place to hold charity events.
Britain's Princes William and Harry are planning to use their late mother's apartment for charity events.
Renovations have already begun on the state rooms at apartment 8 in Kensington Palace, which will see the princes and William's wife Duchess Catherine use Princess Diana's former home for entertaining and holding receptions for their own charities.
A royal spokesman told Express.co.uk: "Neither of the princes wanted to move into their mother's old apartment as a home but both see their futures at Kensington Palace.
"Apartment 8 is partly being turned into offices and the state rooms will be used by both the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry."
William and Catherine are planning to move into Princess Margaret's former home at apartment 1A next year after it undergoes extensive renovations while Prince Harry has reportedly told aides he will also make his home at the palace when he eventually marries.
Meanwhile, William and Duchess Catherine will join Prince Harry in attending the Millies tonight (19.12.11), an awards ceremony held by the Sun newspaper which pays tribute to the bravery of servicemen and women.
The occasion marks the first time the royal trio have been guests at a newspaper-hosted ceremony of its kind.
William, Harry and Catherine will be joined at the event at the Imperial War Museum in London by their friend David Beckham and a host of other famous faces.
At the ceremony - which will be screened on British TV channel ITV1 on Wednesday (21.12.11) - 11 awards will be handed out to groups, individuals and units.
