Prince William and Duchess Catherine are planning a romantic getaway at Balmoral in Scotland.
The couple, who celebrated their first wedding anniversary in April, are planning the romantic getaway to Tam-na-Ghar cottage on the family's estate, and are looking forward to spending time together alone.
A source told Now Magazine: "They enjoy going there to spend time by themselves and used to go in their university days.
"It's a place they can just be themselves."
The cottage is a place where William's father, Charles, and mother, Diana, sometimes used to holiday when they were married.
The duchess will be looking forward to a little private time in the next couple of weeks after spending a great deal of time in the public eye, making numerous appearances at the London Olympics with William, and, later when he had to resume his work as a search and rescue helicopter pilot, with his brother Prince Harry.
Catherine and Harry were spotted cheering on the acts at the closing ceremony for the Games at the Olympic Stadium, which featured performances from the Spice Girls and Take That.
Other members of the royal family who are already at Balmoral include Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles, as well as William's grandfather, Prince Philip, who was discharged from hospital earlier this week after spending five days in the medical facility being treated for the recurrence of a bladder infection.
