Britain's Prince William accidentally walked in on a naked rugby team.

The 27-year-old royal did a "double-take" after he was confronted by the muscular sportsmen - who play for New Zealand's national rugby union team - as they showered in the nude following an international match.

A source said: "The Prince did a bit of a double-take, but actually dealt pretty well with what could have been embarrassing."

Although the prince managed to control his blushes, some of the hunky sportsmen found the situation uncomfortable

William had arranged to meet with the team after a game against Wales in Cardiff.

The source added: "Some of the boys were more awkward. I think they'd have felt more comfortable being dressed more appropriately - or being dressed at all!"

This is not the first time William has caused some embarrassment.

Last year, the royal told a young fan to imagine him in the nude after she struggled to speak to him because of her nerves.
