Britain's Prince William arrived back in the UK without incident after airline unions hoped to ground him in Switzerland.
The 27-year-old prince used a flight chartered by troubled airline British Airways to get home alongside 200 other passengers.
A source said: "It's a major kick in the teeth for the unions. They would have loved to have embarrassed BA by leaving William struggling."

The prince used a plane supplied by Jet2 to make the three-hour flight from Switzerland back to London's Heathrow airport.
The prince was returning from a holiday in the Alps with his long-term girlfriend Kate Middleton and her parents Carol and Mike.
The couple had enjoyed some private time alone on the skiing trip, and stunned diners in a mountain-top restaurant with their intimate behaviour.
A source said: "They were sitting right next to us on the mountain-top restaurant. Kate was really tactile with William and they were messing around in a loving way with each other. It was rather cute.
"Kate, who was wearing a white ski-jacket and goggles, is quite tiny in the flesh, incredibly slim and very pretty. William was in sunglasses but was instantly recognisable. They seemed a very loving couple."
