Britain's Princess Anne was upstaged by Andrew Flintoff at the cricket yesterday (20.07.09).
The Princess Royal was at Lord's cricket ground in London to watch England take on Australia in the final day of the second test of the Ashes series but she couldn't compete with the England all-rounder after he took five Australian wickets to win the match.
After the game, the princess was at the back of the pavilion and while policemen cleared her way through the fans only a handful stopped to watch her pass as they were more interested in applauding Flintoff.
It was Flintoff's last test match at the world-famous ground and he received a huge standing ovation when he left the field.
Anne is not the first royal to have spent a day at Lord's to watch this test match.
Her mother, Queen Elizabeth, was at the ground on Friday (17.07.09) and within minutes of taking her seat, England captain Andrew Strauss caught his Australian counterpart Ricky Ponting, leaving the visitors with just 10 runs for the loss of two wickets.
England have now taken a 1-0 lead in the series, with three more tests still to go.
