It is engraved: 'With best wishes, Diana, July 29, 1981.'Auctioneer James Grinter said: "Diana's letter gives a unique insight into her feelings leading up to the royal wedding and it is also rare for an original Lichfield wedding photograph to come on the market."Earlier this year, a collection of letters written by Diana to her former nanny Mary Clarke sold for £24,265.Among the four notes was one in which Diana revealed she felt like "an elephant" when dancing.Diana, who famously danced with John Travolta at the White House in 1985, wrote when she was just 17: "My love of life is dancing, things like tap, modern, ballet and jazz. Also I love singing, even though my voice sounds awful. And watching me dance is like watching an elephant, so no one does."

This poor young woman sounds so lonely. I can't imagine a honeymoon where the couple is always surrounded by so many people. Diana and Charles never had dinner alone because they ate with the Capt. and crew.
