Monaco's Princess Stephanie has jetted to Singapore to watch her daughter at the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games.
The stunning princess is attending the competition to give 16-year-old Pauline Ducruet moral support as she represents Monaco in the three-metre springboard diving competition.
The royal - who is the youngest child of Prince Rainier III and Hollywood actress Grace Kelly - insisted she wasn't attending in an official capacity.
She said: "I am just a good old mum. I am here to offer support. I am here for my daughter."
Stephanie admitted she was probably more nervous talented Pauline, whose competition begins on Monday (23.08.10).
Stephanie said: "I think probably I'm more nervous, because it means so much to her. The athletes are so young and at the beginning of a career. That is what is so great, that they have the opportunity at these Olympic Games to test their skills."
Pauline started diving just four years ago and now dreams of competing at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The swimming star has Olympic winners in her family with her great-grandfather John Kelly winning three gold medals for rowing in the 1920s while her uncle Prince Albert was on Monaco's bobsleigh team which took part in five Winter Olympics. He is now president of the Monaco Olympic Committee.
The princess explained: "I guess we have the Olympics in our blood".
She also praised the Youth Olympics - which is for 14 to 18 year olds and is being staged for the first time this year- for encouraging young talent.
She said: "It is like a big camp and I see my daughters' eyes and the stars she has in them."
