A Disney spectacular will close a family festival held in honour of Britain's Queen Elizabeth.

The Jubilee Family Festival Presented by Sainsbury's will take place across the weekend of June 2-3 in London's Hyde Park - one of the eight royal parks - as part of the celebrations for the monarch's 60th year on the throne.

Visitors will be treated to live music, celebrity performers, dancers, motorcycle displays and equestrian event before each night draws to a close with a 70-minute Disney concert featuring well-loved songs and characters.

Big screens will also be erected so attendees don't miss any of the other Jubilee events going on around the country.

Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London, said: "In an extraordinary year for the capital, the Diamond Jubilee Weekend will be an unforgettable national celebration, bringing visitors and tourists from across the country, the Commonwealth and the world. The Jubilee Family Festival will help make this weekend a truly memorable one for anyone wanting to be at the heart of the action."

The festival will be themed around 60 years of British heritage and incorporates influences from across the Commonwealth.

Tickets for the event go on sale on Friday (24.02.12).
