Christian Louboutin wants to design shoes for Britain's Queen Elizabeth.
The designer - who is famed for his trademark red soles - has revealed the 85-year-old monarch is his dream client and he would love to create footwear for her.
He told Grazia magazine: "If I could do shoes for anyone it would be a special project for the queen of England. She is the ultimate client."
The queen has always been known for her stylish outfit choices and was previously praised by industry experts for her impeccable fashion sense.
British model Twiggy has said: "She is a fashion icon. Over the years she has worn some beautiful clothes."
The model-turned-chef Sophie Dahl also echoed her sentiments, claiming the queen had led the way for classic fashion.
She said: "The queen is my icon in general. I have embraced her use of matching shoes and handbag since I was 16. I think she looks marvellous."
Queen Elizabeth often recycles her outfits to save money.
A spokesperson previously said: "The queen has always been thrifty and she is well-known for her culture of saving energy around the palace.
"Since we have started designing and making things in-house, we are able to be thriftier because we are using materials we already have."
