Queen Elizabeth will attend a Commonwealth luncheon at Marlborough House today (06.06.12).
The monarch - who enjoyed a special four day celebration of her Diamond Jubilee over the long weekend - will meet with heads of government and representatives of the Commonwealth nations at the event today.
On arrival, Queen Elizabeth will be greeted by the Commonwealth Secretary-General, Kamalesh Sharma, and meet guests at a reception in the Blenheim Saloon, at which the Commonwealth Youth Orchestra will play.
After lunch in the Main Conference Room, soprano Laura Wright will sing the Commonwealth Song, Stronger as One.
Afterwards, the queen will again meet guests in the garden, and take part in a group photograph with Commonwealth leaders.
Meanwhile, yesterday (05.06.12), Queen Elizabeth attended a thanksgiving service at St Paul's Cathedral where Archbishop of Canterbury Dr Rowan Williams paid tribute to her "lifelong dedication".
He said: "I don't think it's at all fanciful to say that, in all her public engagements, our queen has shown a quality of joy in the happiness of others."
