Britain's Queen Elizabeth showed off her golfing knowledge yesterday as she knighted Nick Faldo.
The monarch told the six-times major tournament winner: "You've been in the game a long time."
The 52-year-old sportsman confirmed: "Yes ma'am, for 30 years"
He later admitted that meeting the monarch for the first time was an "unbelievable experience".
The queen bestowed the honour on Nick at the Windsor Castle ceremony after his incredible 30-year golfing career, which has included winning the Open three times, the Masters three times, the European Order of Merit twice and 30 additional wins on the European Tour.

He said afterwards: "I had dreams as a young boy of being a golfer and winning tournaments, but you don't dream of this.
"When I found out in the summer, my first thought was of riding my bike through the woods to the golf course when I was just starting out.
"I played my first round of golf on my 14th birthday."
