Queen Elizabeth's 'fabulous' Skin

Britain's Queen Elizabeth has been complimented for her "fabulous" skin by a leading beauty expert.

Nicky Kinnaird, founder of the Space NK beauty chain, met the 82-year-old monarch at royal residence Buckingham Palace yesterday (19.03.09) to collect her MBE and says she was impressed with how good she looked.

She looks fabulous for the age she is. The royal family travel so much and I know just how much that takes out of you and they work so hard. I don't think people appreciate how tough their jobs are.

Meanwhile, top interior designer Kelly Hoppen gave her seal of approval to the décor at Buckingham Palace even though it goes against the luxurious minimalism she is famous for.

She said: "Nothing matches but it is fabulous. I was gazing at the flock wallpaper and I said to Nicky Kinnaird 'Oh, but imagine what it would look like all in white!'"

The 49-year-old added: "I've been working since I was 16-and-a-half and I've won a lot of awards but this is special."
