Royal prostitute pose

A naked prostitute has been photographed straddling Denmark's Queen Margrethe's throne.The image is one of 29 nude pictures shot in the royal reception rooms at Copenhagen's Christiansborg Palace, the home of the Danish parliament.The photographs, which also include her sprawled across the table used during state councils, have been published in Danish tabloid Se og Hor.Digital photography experts said the pictures were likely to be genuine, as the angle of the shadows on the woman's body were the same as those in the rest of the room. The palace's management said they were unable to explain how the 43-year-old entered the rooms, which the public are usually barred from.Construction is currently being carried out at the palace, but administrator Jens Greve said it would have been impossible for the woman to climb in using the scaffolding currently set up around the building. Greve said: "I really don't know how she could have got in. Bags are not allowed in the royal reception rooms, but we don't frisk people. So if someone wanted to, they could smuggle a petrol tank in if they really wanted."

When asked whether the woman could have been in conspiracy with a security guard, Greve said: "Of course there could be a few spoiled apples, but I'd choose to believe that's not true."

Greve believes that the pictures had been taken within the past year, most likely while the reception rooms were being used as part of an exhibition of portraits of Danish monarchs.
