Mike Tindall enjoyed an adventure filled day off with teammates when he did two bungee jumps yesterday (15.09.11).
Mike Tindall enjoyed a bungee jump in New Zealand so much yesterday (15.09.11), he immediately went back for a second.
The England rugby captain - who married Queen Elizabeth's granddaughter Zara Phillips in July - was enjoying a day off with teammates when he tried out the daring 140 ft leap from a bridge near the team's training camp in Queenstown.
According to Britain's The Sun newspaper, Mike, 32, took off his wedding ring and jumper for the leap, causing a friend to joke: "Imagine the pictures, you with your wedding ring and your shirt off."
A source said: "Mike was having the time of his life."
The jump comes soon after it was revealed the rugby star and his teammates reported watched a dwarf-throwing contest as they partied in Queenstown's Altitude bar.
However, despite the players posing for pictures with the midgets, Richard Dean, the venue's manager, insisted no dwarves were tossed around and praised the team as being good fun.
Writing on Altitude's Facebook page, he explained: "Firstly there was no dwarf throwing - that's just not cool!
"Secondly there was no scandal by any of the English rugby players that we saw. They were great lads, not throwing the midgets, it was all light-hearted good fun!
Mike could remain in New Zealand for another five weeks if England progress to the final stages of the competition, with new bride Zara set to join him in the coming weeks.
